Hey dudes.  This is the guitar dudes team of Johnny and Pina.  Johnny’s a fast-talking American hailing from Chicago and Pina’s a soft eyed Portugese living out of Barcelona.  We’re a bit ying and yang, sweet and sour if you will, but go with us on this.

The guitar dudes are all about, well, guitars. Thick, creamy mounds of distortion coated 100 watts of sound blowing out your eardrums and making you scream I wanna rock! Yes, yes, you do, and we will show you music that’ll let you throw horns in the air to your heart’s content.

The guitar dudes occasionally acknowledge that music can be made without the aid of a guitar. While we don’t recommend it, we understand. Occasionally we will post about such music if it rocks in some other fashion.

Lastly, the Guitar Dudes think Chicago–from Smashing Pumpkins to, well, Chicago–has some of the best music out there. Some of us even reside in that city. We will focus on bands around Chicago that need to be heard and maybe some out of Lisbon if some decent ones show up.
